Strengthening corporate culture

When IKEA, the global home furnishing company, wanted to strengthen its own corporate culture, vision and values internally for long-term success, the company turned to Celemi — a learning partner since 1995 — for help.

Working together, Celemi and IKEA created a custom-made, five-day communication and engagement program, called the “IKEA Way,” for top managers. The program incorporated a variety of media, including case stories and simulations, and provided managers with the tools they needed to share their learning with co-workers back in home offices. As a result, key messages and operating principles have been internalized by thousands of IKEA employees around the world.
