A leadership program to drive modernization
The HMRC Inland Revenue, UK’s tax collection and redistribution agency, was charged with matching the “best standards” of private sector practices - a mandate requiring this large, public sector organization to modernize the way it delivers varied financial services (i.e., tax payments, tax credits and student loans) to its customers. In order to get all 80,000 employees across the UK to comply, management turned to Celemi.
Working closely with the client, we created a custom-made program including a Celemi WorkMat™ series and case scenarios to generate understanding. Later, the Inland Revenue returned for another custom-made solution to develop leadership skills for an additional 8,000 managers, clarifying the skills needed to “lead modernization” and drive success.
