Implementing a new financial model
When BP, a world-leading oil, gas and energy business, adopted a new financial reporting and MIS system to better operate in a rather unpredictable marketplace, it needed to get 3,000 managers in 5 countries to fully understand and accept the new model. BP turned to Celemi—a learning partner since 2000—for help.
The solution was a custom-made learning program that incorporated a Celemi WorkMat™, a computer-based competitive decision-making experience and several role-playing opportunities. At the end of the one-day program, participants gained an intuitive understanding of the model, and the company created awareness, buy-in and commitment.
